In 2008, I took a leap of faith and quit Starbucks for a job as a file clerk at a plaintiff's personal injury law firm.I got lucky. Though I knew nothing about law firms or personal injury, I enjoyed the challenging work and helping sick folks get through darkness. Over the years: thousands(!).Among them, not a single person was made happy, whole, or joyful enough to want the money in lieu of their former lives and time lost.Woe is the industrial machine, built up around the prolonged and torturous suffering of humans, it is Ludacris.Everyone in the casualty claim industry has blame to bear for what is happening today, and the gratuitousness of it all is so very cringe.Onward.
